When did Hernan Cortes arrive first arrive in Tenochtitlan? When did he first attack the Aztecs?

I know it was in 1519, but what I'm looking for is the exact dates that he reached Mexico, entered Tenochtitlan, and took Moctezuma II prisoner. This is for a school ignment in which I have to write a journal from the point of view of an Aztec farmer living in Tenochtitlan. It needs to span from the time Cortes first arrived in Mexico to the time he conquered the city, and I am supposed to use exact dates. Thank you for your help! :)
