Republicans support unions and corporations unlimited donations..?

Why are republicans praising this idea when big companies can now buy an election and the people have less say in it. For example Citgo is a Venezuelan oil company can know donate in American elections. And isn't Venezuela a communist country. Or is the only reason republicans support this is because now they can get big bucks from oil companies and big banks .
